Originally from Canada with a Czech background, Yvonne Black is a dj/producer in the Phoenix/Los Angeles/Hollywood area. For almost two decades, YB has produced original songs, vocals and performed at top venues and festivals around the world. With her exceptional taste in music, ranging from techno, deep-house to energetic progressive, she elevates the experience wherever she performs.
In addition to her unique approach to writing lyrics and singing on all original tracks, Yvonne's productions are distinct, bringing a new sound to the electronic market. Alongside Joseph Christopher, the two are working together as Dakota & Black (AKA: Bitter Persona). So far, they have released over 50 original tracks and numerous remixes on different labels, which are available on iTunes, Spotify, Beatport.com or anywhere else music can be purchased.
Yvonne has performed alongside - Paul Van Dyk, Harry Choo Choo Romero, George Acosta, Morgan Page, Nadia Ali, Eddie Halliwell, Christopher Lawrence, Starkillers, Cedric Gervais and many more.
